It is the mission, duty and purpose of HYDROMENA to educate, support and advocate for sustainable and clean water management practices in the North America and Middle East regions. By working with other American and international entities we seek to ensure clean drinking water; establish safe and sustainable agricultural practices that use clean water, and, support safe and sustainable water ecosystems for industrial use.
We are small and growing fast. We aim to keep overhead low so that your contributions have the most impact where they are needed: the field. As such, our organization is mostly composed of volunteers and ambassadors.
Our ambassador program is comprised of grassroot leaders that support our mission. Ambassadors will be selected based on sphere of influence, academic qualifications, involvement and willingness to commit time and effort to the organization. Ambassadors shall receive yearly training and be equipped with pertinent information and tools that will help them further the organization’s cause. Ambassadors will also serve as grassroots advisors, provide reports and assist in executing activities on behalf of HYDROMENA.
Your donations can be deducted from your U.S. federal taxes and as an organization exempt from federal taxes, sales taxes, etc. this means that more of your donations make it to making a difference in the field. Additionally, we are required, in order to keep our good standing as a public charity, to ensure that we serve a public interest, not a private one. Feel free to check the IRS 501(c)(3) list for our status and that of other organizations you are planning to donate to.
